John Reedy

Poet, musician and photographer John Reedy is spurred by a passion for the truth and beauty found in the details of the grand western landscape. He examines the romance and reality, the nostalgia and dogma, of the changing west with humor and insight.

John and his wife Heather lease a ranch near Boulder, Montana. With eyes open to the changing world, they embrace the romance of an artful existence punctuated by the beauty and grace found in everyday ranch life. They are raising and homeschooling their children among ranchers, cowboys and livestock at a spiritual crossroads located at the confluence of McRae, McGuane, Maclean, C.M.Russell, Ivan Doig, A.B. Guthrie, Kitteridge and Zarzyski.
